Just because that huge pile of junk has been in that corner for over 3 years does NOT mean it’s ok to keep it there. Whether you are staying or selling–you have to SEE your home as a stranger would. You probably have (actually all of us have at one time or another) allowed your life to leave bits and scraps and plain ol’ truckloads of stuff in every nook, cranny, closet, corner, cupboard, and drawer of your space. It’s time to breathe again. Set it FREE!
And if you are paying money to store some of your stuff–is that storage space filled with carefully selected prized items that need to be kept in a dust free climate-controlled environment? yea, right. we both know it is random overflow with no rhyme or reason to keep any of it. Save the money and set it free!
Get out of your comfort zone and (SLOWLY) take back control of your stuff. It’s at least as gratifying as losing 10 pounds.. Then we can have a big ol’ brownie to celebrate.
