I live in Calabasas, so this property is practically down the street.  They had had the home rented for a couple of years and the tenants were moving out.  It listed, for lease again, being shown with the tenants stuff in and out, but weren’t offered anywhere near the rent they wanted.  They called house to home staging & interior design and I made a list of the minor updates and repair items that needed to be taken care of–then the day after the paint was dry, I staged the home.

I don’t know if, dear reader, you’ve got a job, but if you do–remember those times when you finish an assignment and you just feel good?  This was one of those. It was a beautiful home to start with, but for all the volume the double height ceiling gave, the rooms themselves (actual square footage) were not that large–and vacant homes appear/feel even smaller.  A great example home to show how staging can bring a home to life.
